The Nintendo Switch games list just keeps growing. Another Square Enix title has been confirmed to join the launch games line up when the Switch release date arrives this March.
“I Am Setsuna,” Square Enix’s role-playing game, is now confirmed to be included in the Nintendo Switch launch games lineup, Game Spot reported. The RPG title is a turn-based game developed by Tokyo RPB Factory and published by Square Enix.
At the moment, there are now seven confirmed Nintendo Switch launch titles, including the recent addition “I Am Setsuna.” The other six are “Just Dance 2017,” “Skylanders: Imaginators,” “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild,” “The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+,” “Super Bomberman R” and “1-2-Switch.”
However, more games are expected to be added to the Nintendo Switch launch line up between now and the Switch release date on March 3. Futhermore, Nintendo America President Reggie Fils-Aime promised that more titles will be regularly released for the console after its release.
For instance, there are already two games coming to the Nintendo Switch by March this year, probably after the console’s release. These are the action strategy title from Frozenbyte “Has-Been Heroes” as well as “Snipperclips: Cut it Out, Together!” a new Nintendo title to debut on the upcoming Switch, Time reported.
By April this year, three games are already scheduled to arrive to Nintendo Switch console. These are “Constructor HD”, the construction company management simulation game by System 3 and “Mario Kart 8 Deluxe,” which are coming to the console by April 28. “Shovel Knith” Treasure Trove,” the action game by Yatch Club Games will likewise include the Switch among its platforms when it releases by April.
Future Nintendo Switch gamers can expect regular additions to the list of games playable for the console. Apparently, it is a strategy that Nintendo implemented to avoid the repeat of the Wii mistake where players were complaining of the lack of regular new content.
The Nintendo Switch release is slated this March 3. The latest Nintendo console will be priced at $300 when it hits the US market.
According to GameSpot, Telltale’s Minecraft: Story Mode Season 1 could be coming to the Nintendo Switch console in the future. While an actual release date for the game is yet to be announced, the title’s future availability is already confirmed by Job Stauffer, Telltale Head of Creative Communications.
More interesting still is the revelation that Minecraft: Story Mode Season 1 is going to be the first of many that will be joining the expanding list of Nintendo Switch games. Among those being mulled for a crossover are Guardians of the Galaxy, The Wolf Among Us, seasons of Game of Thrones, Batman and Guardians of the Galaxy.
